NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!!! PART II (MADISON SQUARE GARDEN)


U got ur NY Pass , right?(i talked bout this at my previous article) then we'r heading to Madison Square Garden after that, we'r going up and up and uP!!!!
when i finished my visit to Liberty and Ellis i went to see the Madison Square Garden.. it was free for me (cause ım NY Pass holder).
The garden is used for professional basketball and ice hockey, as well as boxing, concerts, ice shows, circuses, professional wrestling and other forms of sports and entertainment. MSG is the home to the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League, the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association, and the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association.

The garden usually hosts a concert each New Year's Eve, while the Knicks and Rangers play on road.



President Kennedy's birthday celebration was held at the third Madison Square Garden on May 19, 1962, and more than 15,000 people attended, including numerous celebrities. The event was a fund raising gala for the Democratic Party. And the Marilyn Monroe sang the traditional "Happy Birthday to You"  with "Mr. President" inserted as Kennedy's name.
