Visit the Statue of Liberty National Monument only a short ferry ride from Battery Park. and if u can get this ferry u can also visit the Ellis Island. and if u have this NY pass, audio tours r available for free to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island.
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York City, in the United States. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel. The statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886. when ur in NY, u definitely must see that statue..

After i saw the Libertas, the Roman Goddess, i hopped on the ferry to go to the Ellis Island. u know the US is mostly created from immigrants.

Ellis Island, in upper New York Bay, was the gateway for over 12 million immigrants to the US as the nation's busiest immigrant inspection station for over 60 years from 1892 until 1954.

Ellis Island was the first stop for immigrants to enter the US.
